I feel like I haven’t posted in a while. I tend to do that when I am focused on other things. In this case, I was pretty much really busy trying to grow and promote my Avon business. I am honestly having fun selling Avon. I didn’t think that I would. I made over $400 in sales for my first Campaign. I was the second top-selling new representative. I really have to thank everyone who ordered from me. I also just found out that my District is the number 1 district in Canada! Am I glad that I am part of the best team here. So there’s going to be a party, but not sure if I should attend since I just joined!

So Zoe turned 2 on Valentine’s Day and a lot of people showed up. My mom cooked a lot of food and I made all the cakes. I still can’t believe that I’ve been a mom for 2 years now.

This tiered cake is lopsided! lol… I covered it with Marshmallow Fondant, iced with Swiss Meringue buttercream. The cake is a white cake filled with pastry cream filling.

Zoe took a while to blow out her candles, but she did it eventually! I’m so proud of her!

And of course, she got showered with tons of gifts!

She enjoyed her birthday. She still thinks it’s still her birthday to this day. hehe, my daughter is too cute. =)

So I am back after a long absence (to me it felt long because my computer isn’t working). I asked my husband to fix my computer because it got infected with a trojan. I downloaded something that I thought was a DVD program when it was a trojan. He re-formatted my computer and since he did, it wouldn’t turn on now. *sigh* So I am computer less and I’m just here using my husband’s PC.

Anyway, I finally had my first sale on eBay. The only thing is I didn’t make much from it because I underpriced the shipping and handling. Oh well… it is a learning experience… Also, I recently joined Avon. I am now selling Avon products! I still have to go online to activate my site and read their online training. I’m very excited about it, and I hope that people order from me. So I’m now officially a Work at Home Mom. I sell on eBay and now I’m an Avon rep.

I’m very grateful to have lived through 2009 and I’m very much looking forward to what 2010 may bring. I have learned a lot in 2009, and I think I did grow a bit. Being a mother is teaching me a lot. Overall, I’m quite happy with what I’ve accomplished in 09. I just can’t believe another decade has gone by… It will be almost 10 years since I graduated from High School. Where did time go? I can still remember when I was the “child” and going to school and getting into trouble from my parents like they all just happened yesterday. Now I am the parent and the one that has the responsibility to discipline a child. Oh how I wish that I did more things in life… which gives me a reason to have a few New Years Resolutions this year. I’m going to enjoy life more.

God has taught me so much. I know that I have turned away from Him and living my life in a way that isn’t pleasing to His eyes, but I’m glad that I could come to Him at any time. He is always faithful even when I’m not. That’s why we all need His grace… heck, I know I really need it, because I’m such a moron. lol… I am going through things mentally and emotionally and God is helping me to get back on my feet. I’m really grateful for God’s provision…

Another resolution? I’m going to drink milk on a regular basis and also eat healthier. God is keeping me alive and healthy so that I could function in life. I also realized that I’m starting to become lactose intolerant as I haven’t been drinking much milk since I got married… We don’t have milk in the house because Josh is lactose intolerant. Zoe will only drink breast milk or chocolate milk. Another reason why it’s a good idea for me to drink more milk is because I realized that my knees have become weak. I think I need to do jumping jacks to strengthen my legs and feet! lol I’m really out of shape.

This year, I was actually feeling the Christmas spirit. I feel like it’s our first Christmas together as a married couple/family… but it’s really our second. Last year, we didn’t even give presents to each other. I remember, the day after Christmas last year… we found out we were pregnant with our second baby. That was our present to each other Christmas 2008. lol This year was fun, but financially challenging. We purchased a new vehicle because we needed to. Our minivan broke down, so we bought a new vehicle. We weren’t able to buy gifts for everybody, but that is okay. We were glad that we bought our kids presents early in November.

We hosted a Christmas potluck this year for our close friends. We all had a great time. I love to entertain and eating while having a great conversation with friends. I don’t talk much, but I’m a good listener (at least I like to think so). Our friends, Robyn and Allan, who were in town for the weekend, stayed a bit longer for us and we really appreciate them for doing that.

Here are some photos…

We bought our very first Christmas tree from Walmart. Last year, we didn’t put up a Christmas tree, so this year we decided to. I’m very excited for Christmas this year. I haven’t been this excited in a while actually… I’m looking forward to this…
