So I am back after a long absence (to me it felt long because my computer isn’t working). I asked my husband to fix my computer because it got infected with a trojan. I downloaded something that I thought was a DVD program when it was a trojan. He re-formatted my computer and since he did, it wouldn’t turn on now. *sigh* So I am computer less and I’m just here using my husband’s PC.

Anyway, I finally had my first sale on eBay. The only thing is I didn’t make much from it because I underpriced the shipping and handling. Oh well… it is a learning experience… Also, I recently joined Avon. I am now selling Avon products! I still have to go online to activate my site and read their online training. I’m very excited about it, and I hope that people order from me. So I’m now officially a Work at Home Mom. I sell on eBay and now I’m an Avon rep.

Congrats Kristine!! I thought about Avon myself because my friend is also selling it, but I don’t really know to many people in my town so I didn’t think I could sell to anybody; but as you know we have blogs, so that gives us a whole new audience. Good luck on ebay, I’m sure you be making money in no time. It’s nice to stay at home and make money. Thx for your comment on my blog

Congratz! I sold Avon a long time ago and you can really make some money, IF your not a big spender yourself. All of my profits paid for my order weekly lol so I didn’t make anything extra but it was fun. My husband has sold a few things on Ebay but we use our account mostly to buy things hehe but good luck on everything chica!

I wish that I could be a work at home mom! That’s cool, I hope that everything works out fine! Like Charris said, you have a blog to use as an advantage.

@lindsie: Thank you Lindsie! Maybe you could give me a few pointers on selling Avon. I already have a few ideas myself, but I hope they work. I don’t want to buy Avon for myself yet, but I do want to start wearing their makeup and use more of their products so that I get to know Avon products more.

Congrats! A family friend of mine makes most of her income from Ebay. She works at a thrift store and picks up awesome items, then sells them for more on Ebay. :]

We all would like to work at home but I am a single mother. I have too many bills at stake to take that risk.

I wish you all the luck. Especially at AVON. My mother use to sell it years ago. I never knew that they have online purchasing.

Congrats, I was gonna try Avon Do you have to pay to get started?

  • Kristine says...

@Lena: Yes, I had to pay $20 to get started, but you don’t have to keep any inventory or buy the product before selling them.

owning a couple of blogs and websites and monetizing them with adsense or adbrite is a good way to Work at home. you can also answer paid surveys but most of them are scam sites.
