Big Wedding Progess and My 26th Birthday

We have accomplished a lot recently concerning wedding related issues. And I decided that I will post my progress on today’s entry. I am so pleased with what we have done so far. I am just now waiting for my dress to come in so I can have my first fitting. I’m expecting it come in next week, I hope! Also I believe the bridesmaids dresses are done and my cousin should be mailing it to me as soon as I send her the final payment. =)

We are learning a lot about each other from doing our pre-marital counselling with Pastor Allan. hehe, it still feels weird addressing him in that way, but I really think I should. He is marrying us after all. It’s just weird to me since we have been friends even before he was pastor.

Now onto wedding stuff!

I am making more invitations, a smaller version of the original. I had to because we are already running out of invites. My mom just keeps adding more people to the guest list. lol

Our favors. It will be filled with pink M&M’s.

My messy workplace. lol

The pink rose petals.

And last but not least… my hair trial!

I used a hair piece to make my hair look longer.

I am still a bit concerned if my hair style and dress will go together. I hope they do. I actually had a rather terrible dream about this recently. I dreamt that my hairdresser couldn’t make it on my wedding day so nobody was there to do my hair. So I ended up looking like crap on my wedding day. *sigh* yes, I am so worried about this. I hope I don’t hate how I look.

Okay enough about wedding stuff… I turned 26 on Tuesday, September 16th. I spent most of my day with family, mainly with my future hubby, Josh. Thank you hun! He got me the new Sims 2 expansion pack, Apartment Life, which got me so excited and giddy. lol In the evening of my birthday, my parents took us out for a dinner at The Keg. I love The Keg!

You can see pictures of that night on my Facebook here.

That’s all for now! Have a great day everyone!

Look at Zoe in the mirror!!! With her lil chunky butt!

I applaud you for going through pre-marital counseling before actually getting married. There are so many people who tries to avoid all of that before getting married, who just so happens to be the ones that divorce early. The invitations are gorgeous!

I’m glad to hear that everything is going well with the wedding plans! Your invitations are very nice! I agree with Chanel. I think that it’s a good thing that you’re getting pre-marital counseling.

Ooh that’s exciting!

Those invitations and wedding favors must be taking forever! Did you have to cut each of the brown envelopes individually?

@Katy: No, those brown pocketfold envelopes have been precut. I don’t have a good paper cutter, so I just decided to buy them precut. =)
